Beniamino Fortis received his philosophical training in Italy, then refined his skills in various countries such as Germany, the United States, Austria, and the United Kingdom. His work has focused, on the one hand, on issues of aesthetics and image theory, and on the other, on topics related to Jewish thought. His current project on the theme of idolatry combines these two main lines of research.
