Prof. Brian Crawford received his PhD in 2004 from the University of California, Irvine. Before coming to Touro College Berlin, he taught American literature, cultural studies, and Jewish studies at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He also started the Jewish studies program at Elon University.

Currently, he is working on a book of experimental forms of post-Holocaust narratives and photography. His essays have been published in the journal Critique and in literary anthologies. He also teaches in the undergraduate program of Touro College Berlin.
