The international conference Bridges Across the Continent: Jewish Worlds Between Venice and Amsterdam brings together leading scholars to explore the interconnected histories of two of the most influential centres of early modern Jewish life. By placing Venice and Amsterdam in direct comparative and relational dialogue, the conference will examine the networks of people, books, ideas, goods, and capital that linked the two cities and shaped Jewish life across early modern Europe.
