Bilderverbot – Image Prohibition

This international workshop is organized by the research group Bilderverbot und Theorie der Kunst. The five invited speakers will discuss the role and influence of the biblical image ban (Bilderverbot) on such contemporary philosophers as Theodor W. Adorno, Jacques Derrida, and Walter Benjamin.
